How does one get into it?

I'm thinking 34 coming up, I may need something to sustain me in later life and there seems to be no age to that vocation, plus I'm fascinated by history and what can be found.

Midlife crisis alert, MAYDAY, MAYDAY.

Grow a pony tail and buy a porsche.

34 aint no biggy, ive 3/4 the way thru it, your lucky, 3 children converts my age to about 84.

It's not that.

I have always been interested in it and web design isn't really testing me much these days. Don't just want to be someone who earns to pay the bills.

I don't know. I'm a bit of a writer also if I'm being honest, maybe I could try and do more of that. They say everyone has a novel in them. I have loads of stories rattling around the old creative box.

My Mates an archeologist, used to be a british gas heating engineer, gave that up. His job basically involves diggin trenches in quarries and on building developments etc, gets very muddy, never really found anything I found interesting, seems to get excited about a rotten knacked bit of wood every now and then...

Cold job in winter.

If you want to become talented in Archaeology then you have to do your research and see what you can dig up.
