I know we can't afford his supposed £15.6m fee set by them lot, but Juve have just signed Pirlo from Milan, which basically puts him out of the side.

If we had the cash, and I don't doubt we do, would you have him? He has a brilliant range of passing, and can pick a player out. Not sure where he'd fit in but he struck me as a potential.

Played 33 games in Turin, not bad for A player almost out for the previous season at Liverpool.

Hmm had he not played for the ****e I would say "maybe." Then again he didn't play much did he. 15m is way too much though.

He's another player that that club ruined. They really put a curse on some players. I mean Gerrard's not been bad like. But a lot of players they buy just go to ****.

Even in Italy he was always considered a player who's underachieving and struggling with injuries. It's not RS which ruined him, but I still don't why Benitez bought him. And for the record, I don't think he would be a good buy for us.

Potential is there, but too injury prone.. I can think of a few players which are better and are much cheaper than 15 mill

Pirlo has signed for Juve. I think it's still a go-er for Juve like.

Still laughing at this.......

Selling Alonso to sign this lid was one of the most laughable transfer strategies of all time - god i miss Rafael.

Where did it all go wrong after we had agents H&G in place and Rafael wasting all their money and sending them into bankruptcy......<sigh>.......on the bright side Carroll £35M hahahahhahahaha

I hope they send him to Milan and sign Adam, Aquilani is a very good player, he's not been troubled by injuries since he left Liverpool, but he's been the standout player in an underperforming Juve side this year. I'd have him here no doubt if he kept his fitness, think he'd work well with MoFro.

Wouldn't pull a sabre from my own body if it meant it helped them. Would much rather he had another season on the bench and left on a free.
