Temple bar area is expensive but best place to be especially if u don't know ur way about. Copperface Jack's to pick up a lady.

Dublin City is pretty much criac central, suggest you and the Missus take leisurely Saturday stroll up Grafton St.
Pop into Stephens Green to feed the ducks, a pint in Bruxelles is also a must.

Go to Thunder roads cafe for beer n burgers, (temple bar), if yer looking for somewhere more intimate, try The Vintage Kitchen (poolbeg st) then you can stroll into Mulligans (famous Dublin pub with a great pint of Guinness) and sample the mainly rugby crowd due to the match being on Saturday. I could go on and on about pubs, clubs and restaurants but you'll find out for yourself. Enjoy.

agree totally with raymondo, perfect day out in town.right across from bruxelles is mcdaids, good spot too.
also try the foggy dew on dame street, stags head across from it is decent.
restaurant wise ,really take your pick-.
if its nite clubbing your into, try bond on harcourt street.mostly older ,separated and slightly desperate people, but the drink is all 4 euro .plus all the beautiful people are next door in coppers.perfect end to a night!!!
enjoy dublin,,,,
