i lived in the 'boro for a year. i need to defend it a bit. the stadium is not that bad. it looks great at night but by day has a funky design. the problem is inside. all the views are great but it has no soul. still, i went there for all boro's reserve games and prem matches (i kept that quiet- following boro for a year!).

the people are nice. ofcourse there are some bad meffs but they are hardworking with a good sense of humour.

no beer to be had by the stadium. it really is built in a landfill reclaim site. but a couple of decent boozers near the train station. enjoy the day... i have a feeling the blues will do well there this year.

Sound good to me then, is the stadium far from the train station do I need to take a taxi?

Hey, nothing wrong with supporting the local team when you live around there (except RS of course), as long as you support Everton as your main team, I support Scarborough FC when I did my A-level at school in Scarborough, of course my team is always going to be Everton.

no beer inside, what can we drink and eat inside then?

there is beer inside... just no pub outside the ground.

you can walk from the train station. it would take about 25 minutes. remember middlesbrough is a town not a city. it's not really that big. if you follow the people in red they will lead you to the ground.

following teams where you live... can't beat it. i've followed preston, sheffield united, middlesbrough, manchester city and suwon bluewings. of course everton are the number one... but when you need that football fix... and i still stand by the best ever atmosphere i've ever experienced was at brammall lane. maine road was quite loud aswell.

Haha, forgot it was a town and hell yea follow the home fans is the easiest way to the ground, remember following the Man City Fans before!

It should be pretty good view from row 32 on the upper stand, get more of the overview rather than vertical view.

25 mins, though I read it somewhere 10~15 mins, I should know more when I get there!

Ticket certainly got here quick I book it like 3~4pm yesterday and it arrive this morning!

Ive been lucky/girls have been very drunk and silly. Delete as applicable.

Theres been a lot of filth, travels good for that.

I was with the Hartlepool one for a couple of years, she was a sound girl in fairness and rarely an ex that I remain in touch with to this day.

Im just trying to be a better person"

Well, not the best stadium I suppose but not too bad, the view from the seat are pretty good, I suppose the pitch was rather small, and our boys today took there time to settle down!

I think we have fill up the away stand completely, and the boys have repaid our support with a 3 points today, couldn't ask for more a much better 2nd half performance although we are still not at our best!
