Just looking for some info on ActionScript (I think). Basically exploring the possibility of a Subserviant Chicken style app. It looks like it's done in Flash using action script to do the logic and preloading each video so it's not too slow. I'm no Flash expert though so it'd be good to get some input from someone that knows their stuff.

You might possibly be wanting to look at Flex development, not just Flash. Way outside my area of competence though. I'd go and have a poke around elance (he says, with it open in another window) and see what others have been looking for along those lines.

i'm an expert on most things

however, i dont regard myself as flash at all.

maybe you should seek someone that has a range rover sport and talks about their salary/bonus all the time, don't expect to get a word in edgeways though as they will be far too busy telling you about themselves and what they have got and achieved to listen to you.

the guy i used to go to the match with fits the bill.
e.g. "so hows your business ?"
"errr, pretty shoite tbh, losing money each week"
"really, i've earned a fortune this month, look at this pic here....60k there on my desk, thats my bonus this month, it's your round btw"

tactless is a word that usually goes along with the flash tag.

Yeah I'd noticed it was 5 years old. No idea what Flex is though?

From what I understand (which is very little in this kind of area) Flex is a more open-source framework to build "rich internet" applications, as opposed to Flash which was based on proprietary code and software. It displays in Flash Player.
