As for beyond that, I really don't think he's good enough to be offered a contract extension - even if it's only one more year as a 4th choice centre half. Because as happened this year, if he was offered this deal under those terms, I've got a funny feeling he would get a fair bit of game time anyway.

Martinez seems to love him.

Hibbert was a good old fashioned RB when younger and able. Gosling won a derby, Ross could be boss, likewise Garbutt.
