By the way, this is not me saying he didn't have a bad game, just that we can eliminate the 'bias' nonsense.

I think we're a pretty unpopular team with referees, but in reality, apart from the select few clubs like Liverpool, Man United, Man City etc, i'm sure it's the same for all teams outside of the top places, yet we just don't realise it.

For example, we've been lucky with numerous bad challenges in the past year or two that in the modern game, could have been reds. Barry got away with a blatant penalty last week as well.

Having said that, that's me trying to be reasonable and to be honest, it's an absolute disgrace how bad the standard of refereeing has become.

We never seem to get the luck in crunch decisions like penalties against the "top" sides in particular, and any 50/50 that is a big decision seems to go against us. What I hate the most is the smug way the refs do it. The likes of Mason, Moss, Clattenburg, Atkinson and Marriner all seem to take great joy in gifting big decisions against us or denying us a chance to get ahead or back in the game.

Taylor was just as bad last night. The ref should have been on to the West Ham players cheating their way through the game. Cresswell was a disgrace, Noble was far too soft and Collins/Reid seemed to get the 50/50 decisions their way against Lukaku.
