As an aside it is long past time that the law was clarified to make it easier for people (or their estate) who take action based on these grifters to sue them when the inevitable happens.

problem with the internet is there is no jurisdiction, so a crime that lands here isn't prosecutable if it's been commit there (wherever abroad).
