maybe the other option is:
we sell someone who isnt a first teamer really (Yak, Billy, Beckford, etc.. though cant think of anyone else) and either give the money to the bank or use it as a loan fee to get a half decent goalscorer on loan (although again can't think of anyone)... nah maybe its a non starter.....

No need to apologise Skumar lad, some clubs do spend money/buy players. We've done it in the past.

A very reliable source did post that Kenwright will definitely sell the club this summer, so I'm thinking if that completes in the next day or so we could well be spending.

*windmills

If Valente comes back I'm getting a season ticket and travelling up each weekend. Screw the money!

Heh, after retiring he managed to develop a double chin pretty fast....remember seeing that when he was at goodison two seasons back. But with Coleman out, hed still easily be the fastest man in blue....

I get we don't have any money to buy players because we've hit our financial ceiling but when Moyes complains about having no wingers, when he plays Rodwell (who's useless as a winger) instead of Arteta or Osman, (or even a youth winger) he loses my sympathy.

And when he continues to play Cahill and employ an isolated striker upfront when we're struggling to score goals, I just think he's a plank.

We'd beat teams like QPR if Moyes played more adventurously. Unfortunately his tactics\team selections help the weaker teams against us.

thats because neither of those can play as wingers either. Osman ok has his moments but overall all three of them just can't play there.
