A lot of his goals have been scored when he's received the ball with his back to goal, sharp turn and a powerful finish. He's realising his strengths now and it's paying off.

Well done Victor.

To those saying the abuse he got was a disgrace. BULL****.

He deserved cricitism becuase his attitude was all wrong and he was lazy.

He is the complete opposite and is getting his rewards for it.
And the abuse he got was what changed his attitude?

I would say his growth & commitment has satisfied the fans, rather than his attitude.

I want to see him do it consistently for 12 months before any type of reliance can be placed on him as a top flight striker, because it was this time last year when he looked barely good enough for League One, nevermind Everton.

Kneejerking works both ways really. I'm very happy with his recent performances though.

he's been top quality in the games this week fair play. i would have sold him by now, didn't expect him to turn it around so well, his scoring record for the last year is remarkable

Hes been great the past few matches, had a good finish today, some good lay offs and some great runs. Good to see him finally working hard, staying on his feet and use his pace and strength to his advantage.

Problem is with Anichebe, more than any other player, if he starts the game off badly the majority of times he has a bad game

I'd say for the past 12 months he has improved 100%

always good at holding the ball but needs more support players stand and watch and leave it to him.

Didn't he score twice in January ? One of them being a classy goal against Villa and the other against Wigan away when he came on with about five to go ?

This.

Had over 5 years of being consistently inconsistent, put it together for a season and I'll change my opinion. Saying that, of course I'm pleased for him and us that he's starting to play well.
