Happy for him, he's taken too much stick over the years. Now he can actually enjoy playing at goodison without feeling pressured by boo boys. Jelavic, take note, you are not the number 1 striker anymore, pull yer socks up lad.

To be fair to Jelavic I dont think its down to a lack of effort. He doesnt look fit to me. He is also turning into Gene Wilder.

Anichebe has been excellent for us for a while now. Im made up for him. The abuse he has got in the past was a disgrace.

I'll be the first to say that I wanted to see the back of Vic for so long. A complete waste of space and the attitude of a 4 year old. I questioned Moyes' judgement on him, and really thought we should get rid of him.

Now I see what Moyes have seen for the last couple of years. The power, pace, link-up play and 100% effort is really making him a superb striker. He is again looking like the striker who murdered defenses in Europe during our Euro League campaign all those years ago.

Welcome back Vic - you got my backing again (y)

His efforts today was monumental, scored a cracker on the turn, & made one but he gave the two rough house centre backs a mare all the way through should have had a pen too - how many fouls did Villa commit ??? Felli was thrown to the ground yet another pen but if you defend like JH did then you lose 3 goals out of four attempts on goal!

Totally agree and people wondered why he didn't celebrate when he scored.

I'm happy to say i've been saying for ages that he could be a player if he sorted his attitude out and viola he's doing just that. Well in Victor lad.

To those saying the abuse he got was a disgrace. BULL****.

He deserved cricitism becuase his attitude was all wrong and he was lazy.

He is the complete opposite and is getting his rewards for it.
