Really looking forward to reading this book Steve.

Is there a rough timeframe for when you think it will be finished/available to buy?
I will keep you updated. My aim is to release 4 volumes. I will mix and match them all which will keep the readers interested for the next book. I have invited some Everton celebs to participate and Liz McClarnon was my first this week. There is somebody in there for everybody.

I have Gareth Farrelly next week then in August Kev the Rat with Sheeds to follow. Thomas Mhyre and Danny Cadmaerteri are now on board so the more the merrier

Went to visit Andy Rankin today as he was my latest interview for my book. He was 70 years young two weeks ago and was great company. He will always be remembered for his heroics in the penalty shoot out against Borrussia Moenchengladbach.
I met Kevin Langley last night who was also great company with next weeks line up of John Hills and Terry Phelan then on Saturday I have along drive down to Kent to meet Bobby Laverick. For the younger readers on Bobby you will have to Google it.

You know Bryan Viner is writting the same kind of book. Dont know when it will be released though.

I interviewed Gavin McCann and Gordon Lee today, an amazing experience.

AB I am really looking forward to this.

If it helps I can give you something from Peter Farrell RIP with whom I used to get the 46A bus to Milltown (Shamrock Rovers) in the 80s. Some lovely stories about playing in the record attendance derby and the win by Ireland in 1949

Brian to my knowledge is writing a book on Bob Latchford. We were together last year with Latch

He's a friend of my brothers and i could have sworn thats what he said, infact i thought you might be him..But if he told you different then i guess it must be so....After all journo's dont fib:)

It's something that I am proud of. I have worked on this project for nearly two years. I have no qualifications to my name but passionate about our club. My intentions are that fans young and old and by the way there are some players who I have interviewed with only one or two appearances who you may never have heard of have been more interesting than some of the big names.

that is one hell of a couple of weeks, would love to talk to all of them, even Trebilcock ( I wasnt even alive at the time; but 66 FA cup final should be required watching for any everton fan). gotta love - Eddie Cavanagh :)

Got my money ready for this book!

Players celebrating scoring goals have surely evolved since this, but can easily see Ross Barkley in any of these celebrations.
And,did you notice the movement in the stands?!! Insane!

....Archie Styles an interesting character, not sure if he's on your agenda but he was part of the Latchford deal and is not short of an Everton story or two. Still lives locally.
