He made a joke about wanting the English to lose at football. And? I want the Scots to lose at Football. Thats not hate, thats football rivalry. The way the press goes on you would think he hits Engish people with a haggis on a stick whenever he sees one.

Plus who cares if he does hate the English? Being hated is what we're good at. They hate us, we sneer arrogantly at them in return, it's the glue which holds our kingdom together. You remove that and suddenly I have to be nice to scottish people and then next thing you know, xenophobia isn't good enugh any more and I have to be nice to the Yanks or the French as well and then where will it end?

No, I like Murray. I can't say it would save my sporting summer if he won, I'm english not british and I would feel about as much pride in a scotsman winning it as I would a spaniard, but I like Murray.
 
He's a very normal, reasonable lad that plays to win and hates making mistakes. I like him a lot.

Apparently you're 'boring' these days if you don't have relationship problems or wear fancy clothes. He even has a good sense of humour, he nearly always has a wry smile in interviews, people just don't notice it for some reason.

Tomorrow is a superb day of sport.

I agree with the emboldened bit, I can't believe some people still think he is anti-english.

He's really not. Granted he doesnt come across that well in interviews. He's just very dedicated to what he does. His workout schedule would scare you.

I think he's good at Tennis, which is weird for any Scotsman to be good at any sport. Maybe he's not really Scottish.

And those eyebrows, always those eyebrows. Incidentally, a lot of Scots don't like Andy Murray much.

You're probably right. I've only seen interviews and that.

Thinking about it, I dunno why I commented on here! Can't hold my own in a ping pong chat!
