Great player - annoying injuries - and out of favor with Moyes...so hes probably not going to play again...

...But hes got good skill, passing, crossing and a great strike. Only problem is his work rate and pace really...
 
He could be a useful squad player, nothing more nothing less. Last 20 minutes of games when we need a bit of craft or when we have our usual injury crisis.

He'll give us more options anyway, another wide player which is a position we are very light in. I hate it when Ossie has to move to the wings.

He'll be our player of the season, mate.
 
Got no time for him really. Use him if he's 100% and if we get something out of him, great stuff, and its nice to have cover on the wings.

But, like the article says, we've been in this position before regarding Shandy Andy's comeback hits. I think Shandy's comebacks are beating Moyes' contract saga in the "I'll believe it when I see it" catagory...but not by much like.
 
This bloke is the Epitome of the phrase "Let's go see what you could have won". I was ecstatic when we signed him, I even got lifted last season(I think) when he came on as a sub and showed glimpses of his wing ability and ball work, only to be gutted again.


I hope there is life in the old dog, but I will not be holding my breath.

How many times have we heard this [Poor language removed] spuw out of his mouth. Just pay up his contract an get rid. He's the biggest waste of space iv ever known!!
 
So sad, what a talented player, If I was Moyes I would be trying to get him inthere, Pre season up at Preston I watched him closely and he is 1 step ahead of the rest of the players in his brain, great skills, still has some pace I thought but did lose the ball a few times. No worse than Fernandes though or Osman of late.
 
I said ages ago that I wanted us to adopt Holland as our feeder country. Get a Dutch manager and nick all the best Dutch players. I think VdM is the man to take us there. If he can't play, he can be manager.
 
it would be great to see him fit, natural width is something we lack. He played full 90 minutes in first 3 pre season games before his injury at forrest. I just cant see it though, everytime he comes back in the frame theres another setback for one reason or another.
