So far so good, if we can sign this Dias bloke I would be more than happy with him, Townsend, Iwobi and Gray as our wide options. He put a proper shift in today played on the front foot. Intelligent with the ball and defensively sound. Not got the silky skills and pace of Gray, but was very effective today. Proper professional.

Pretty impressed with him today. Really never rated him either. How he dealt with Richarlison's nonsense was proper. Good lad. We've lacked that sort of thing for years.

This lad seems like the transfer Delph was supposed to be, good experience and a leader for the lads while working hard to be more than a squad player. Only difference is Delph came with the ego that he came from the top and is better so he doesn't need to work hard and Townsend knows exactly how hard he has to work because he's stepping up to us.

Think even if we do bring in someone like Diaz he'll still play a good part for us this season, he and Gray have been fantastic signings for a combined £1.5m and probably less than 100k a week for both of them, even if they only each add 5 goals each for the rest of the season it'd still be great business for us given the lack of contribution from anyone but Dom, Richy and James compared to last year.
