Andrew

A cautionary tale of the consequences of bad choices early in life and the difficulties of trying to blame everyone else when you are older ...

I am no fan of Andrew, but to date, he has not committed any crime. Any alleged affair he had with this woman, was in this country, where she was over the age of consent.

This ‘Lady’,who traveled to various countries to ‘service ‘ men,was never held prisoner, and could have went to the police at any time, but waited over 20 years to accuse Andrew.

Is she suing any other of the men she slept with?

The whole affair is murky to say the least.

And had she not had that one photograph taken to send to her Gran, I doubt it would ever have been mentioned.

I have no doubt she has hired some back street lawyer, who will try and milk as much money as he can from the R.F.

I would love it if they threw the whole force of their legal team right back across the pond,

BUT, I suspect that there will be an out of court settlement made, which forbids any discussion at all.

Andrew was a fool bringing shame to his family, and feelings of disgust from us all, but that sex worker is even worse.

Not wanting to play the ref here etc, so apologies for this (i know, i know), but how some of these posters are still allowed on this forum :o

As much as I enjoyed the CA, the no moderation policy there did give some of our more ghoulish members the face to share some of their more unsavoury opinions.
Quite a few masks slipped in there before they quietly crept off to the corners of the forum when the CA was closed.
All still there to see for those with the time to go vault digging.

This is how you let him have it, you Oiks! Next time you lay into someone remember to use "titular dignity" and warn them you are "pleased"!

The record also confirmed his removal from the Roll of Peerage as the Duke of York, which had also been previously announced.
The entry published in The Gazette, the UK's official public record, reads:

"The King has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 3 November 2025 to declare that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor shall no longer be entitled to hold and enjoy the style, title or attribute of 'Royal Highness' and the titular dignity of 'Prince'."

The Great Seal of the Realm refers to a wax seal, and is used by the Crown to show the monarch's approval of important State documents.
