Gonna miss him. Was there for Guardiola, Xavi and Iniestas last games now and this was the biggest blow when the day actually came. Just seemed like a bigger deal in the stadium on the day, and has done since he announced it.

That goal vs Chelsea is easily my favourite non-Everton goal. Reckon I've watched him live at least 80 times over the last few years and it's been a privilege. Glad he could sign off with the double after a crap season previously.

Absolute bloody legend. Coutinho might score more but will never get close to Iniestas levels.

Thought he faded badly second half but still think he’ll start all the big games they play. Some of the stuff him Silva and Isco were playing was from a different planet.

Definitely. There's a weird sort of reverence around him, fed by the media, fans and managers. Even though he is clearly nowhere near the player he was, every good thing he does is lauded, his ever growing number of weaknesses utterly ignored.He is one of my favourite players ever, but it's clear he is being picked based on legend and reputation than for any footballing reasons
