Nor me. They are supposedly appointing a group-level CEO for football operations (Beeston).

Maybe thats is the correct interpretation here and Berta is being lined up for group DOF.

It wouldn't reflect well on Friedkins judgement if they are already thinking of removing Ghisolfi at Roma, given the number of personnel they have gone through there already. And Ranieri is set to stay on as a Technical Advisor in the summer.

This could be the right move to leverage the critical mass of the group as a whole.

Let's not forget Cannes, which is currently too small but has the potential to become a sizable ligue 1 team in the Côte d'Azur.

You can entice great professionals that otherwise woul look elsewhere because the three clubs are currently pretty much work in progress with the chance of being at the helm of a group that, at its full potential, could be one of the biggest in Europe.

And we don't know whether the Friedkins will add more clubs in the future.
