Which for a efficient multi club model would be a very very good idea.

It also is a pretty big incentive even for those at the top of that field as well, as you'd be overseeing two historic clubs with lots of potential.

….makes sense to share the same scouting network, although you need your DOF to work closely with the manager and there’s much wider responsibility for playing strategy, academy etc, so I have doubts there’ll be a single ‘Corporate DOF’.

That's possibly where someone like Weir comes in as a bit of a middleman who can do the day to day stuff covering the other departments.
