I hope we keep him but at the same time he was a laughing stock at Barca. We've put in the work, got him performing and he should be allowed to move here for a cut price deal. I know that isn't how things work but I CBA giving Barca another 25-30m in the summer when we have other areas that need badly sorting.

Gomes is the finest passer of the ball we've had in the team for a long time. Easily since Arteta.

I'm not sure if he is or isn't, but I do know that Gomes creates almost nothing and isn't real good on defense. Yet apparently he's an amazing passer or gets on the front foot or something. I've never seen so many so irrationally supportive of a player.
