At least 3 more players they signed in the summer will have to be unregistered too. It’s a bizarre situation and it cannot be a good dressing room atmosphere there.

Plus can they actually do that? surely if a club do this to a player, I think that the club is breaking the contract with that player, and so nothing would stop the player to walk out for free with the money of his contract paid in full.

It would only be 4 assuming they’re going to unregister every single one of the players that was already there from last season. They have 38 first team squad players, 2 of them are under 21 so don’t need to be registered. So there’s 11 players that will need to be left unregistered.
