A few friends and I are planning to attend Man City in March, our first trip to Goodison. With more buying options available this year, I'm looking for recent recommendations for match tickets.

1) Thomas Cook Sport - 3 Main Stand tickets and one night stay for £408.00
2) StubHub - only singles currently available
3) FOREVERTON - risk of ticket availability a month before match
4) Buy from GOT ticket holders boycotting sale of Fellaini and Baines

See you in March, we'll be the ones supporting Howard.

USA!!!

is the one night stay 3 of you in a room??

Only risk is waiting until a month before the match to buy tickets. I see Chelsea is pretty much sold out, expecting the same for City.

Its no risk, trust me.

All Home games go to general sale and the foreverton thingy means you can get them before that, you WILL get a ticket, no problem at all.

I know you would rather get something that gives you a ticket 100%, but they are ripping you off.

ForEverton Membership £20
Match Ticket £40
3 Nights stay in the "hotel" I linked £75.

Jobs a good un.

Already have the ForEverton membership for this reason, thanks for the reassurance.

Not that this is settled, where do we go for St. Patrick's Day?

I went over for my first match in September. I live in Virginia. Bought tickets through the official site. No problems at all. Bought my ticket on the first day they were available. Sat in the first row of the Lower Gwladys. Goodison supper bar directly across from St. Luke's for chips and curry. Winslow for a pint. Highly recommend the Merseyside Maritime Museum at Albert dock if you have free time and are interested in history. Train to London for a day could be a good idea, 12 quid each way. That advice is based on my experience. Hope some of it helps!

Weird question: I bought a couple tickets for the game in DC last summer off craigslist from a guy named Scott who lived in PA. Was that you by any chance?

If I gave them to you at the tailgate in DC, that was me. That was a warm day.

I did the Albert Dock, Beatles Museum thing when I was there with the misses. Not sure what the others want to do, may head north for a few days.

So it was you! Thanks again for that. Truly one of the most memorable days of my life. Have a great time in Liverpool. Guarantee you'll love it.
