True, but was the SSB really on TV as well? Ouch. The poor singer girl lost it (pitch, poise, key, you name it) and the assembled masses had to get her through the anthem. We were all looking over the south end for the flyover that never arrived (years of NFL training, this), like Pavlov's dogs awaiting the dinner bell. At least she remembered the words - otherwise it really could not have been more of an ordeal.
