In the short term Amazon showing a few games doesnt mean anything,in the longer terms it could have a huge effect on English football,Amazon,Google,etc will be watching viewing figures very closely,the rs,United maybe Arsenal/Chelsea will be their wet dream,soon clubs will be negotiating their own TV deals,certain clubs will rake the cash in others will lose out massively

I watched the City game on my Amazon app on smart TV and it seemed devoid of atmosphere, not sure if that was because the atmosphere in the ground was flat or the Amazon coverage was flat.

I suspect it is the latter because it was more like watching a streamed game than watching a game on Sky or terrestrial TV.

Not for me at the moment.....though I will have the service any time they show a match due to my Amazon Prime membership.

I would not be paying fir it on a stand alone vasis hough.

Doesn’t bother me, already had amazon as they have some decent shows on there and Netflix have been slacking lately

Amazon didn't buck the trend, still managing to squeeze an ex Liverpool player in to do the commentating, is this becoming compulsory now ? No doubt Beglin, who actually seems devoid of any feeling in his voice, will do the commentary on the derby.

I watched bits and bobs of it. Was no different to any of the other channels really.

I already have Prime, get Sky Sports free with my phone and BT Sport free with my Broadband.

I rarely watch any games that don't involve Tottenham.

I most definitely wouldn't pay extra for any of them.

I thought that too. Beglin sounds as though hes hearing confession and could fall asleep with every cliche trotted out. At least its an occasional freebie.. though one with vision only tonight by choice.
