Mikel will be back in Spain within 1 -2 seasons for me, we will miss him - but then we missed so many greats over the years, part of me is gutted but part of me is happy to see him play in the CL. I wont be watching Arsenal for six months though.

Its interesting Mikel says this morning the deal was in the offing for the last few days of the window - though the bids came in late.

That's so there was no stampede to have a replacement in. Did we really expect anything less? It's the Everton board's trademark.
