Allardyce axed after Leicester

While both results and football have been disappointing, if we did fire Sam, the club would enter full on joke territory in my opinion.
Exit full on joke territory is what you mean.

While Sam is here all the other clubs are laughing at us. None of them would want us to go for Silva.

Seriously we cannot go through two managers (I'm not counting Rhino) in one season! That would be lunacy and we would definitely fall apart and possibly be more in that relegation zone we are actually not far from.

If they did fire him who would they bring in??? Silva, honestly I do not want the guy that yes came close to saving Hull from relegation and now Watford who have been falling down the table ever since we allegedly turned his head.

Keep Allardyce until the summer, and once we finish our last game then drop him and throw lots of money at someone better than Silva imo

There's surely no way they'd back him with 50 million quid of new players just to bin him off days later. Won't happen. Plus I'd be very worried if Silva came in after, being as we can't even keep clean sheets under a defensive manager let alone a gung-ho one!

Whole point of having the DOF setup should be that the squad gets constructed regardless of the manager. Obviously he has his input (see Koeman), but if the DOF isn’t there for that reason then why have one?
I agree though, can’t see us binning off Big Sam until end of the season at least

They haven't really backed him with anything. Any manager would have gotten a striker in and Walcott is too good for the club to pass up.

We haven't won a game since 18th December and have picked up 3 points out of a possible 18. I am sure that everyone can agree that is relegation form. If we do the same again in the next 7 games which lets be honest is very possible as there are absolutely zero signs of us being able to win any game at all currently, then we will most definitely be in the bottom 3 and then we will only have 7 games to go and will be in massive trouble. I certainly dont want us to become a Watford but i also dont want to see our club being relegated.

All of this give him till the end of the season is respectful and admirable but could also prove very costly. We are looking absolutely diabolical at this moment in time and I cannot see where the next win is coming from and i dont see anything coming from the Manager that gives me any confidence or optimism whatsoever. The opposite in fact as he is talking like a beaten man that doesn't know how to turn things around and is forecasting a relegation fight.

I don't agree with you about Silva but, that's not the issue really.
As you say, we shouldn't keep changing managers on a whim.
I really didn't like Koeman's football or the 'perceived' player management but, it seemed a bit early to bin him off without a replacement lined up (although I personally thought he'd be gone sooner rather than later).
We left Unsworth out to dry and for whatever reason, we didn't get Silva (or whoever else we were after) and ended up with Allardyce! Why?
We aren't Chelsea and don't have their money to change manager and players regularly. If we really had the money, then why are we still waiting for a left sided defender (since summer)?
So, to cut this shorter than it could've been, I think a manager should be given the time to mould his squad/team but, I don't like the football offered up to us by the last 2 managers so....bin them (haha).

While I think Fat Sam is here to the summer and then he is off to the sun with the compo I am really concerned the players won't buy into to his wholly negative tactics. Our players think they are pemier league stars and Fat Sam wants them to play like Division 2 players, there is a problem that may be unsolvable
