I’m thinking it’s more a case of that we’ve already lined a move away for him for when we finally get Gana / another DCM in, and they’re just trying to ensure he remains fit. We possibly won’t be seeing him play for us again.

I could copy and paste what I put about Gomes, no one will be willing to match the wage we've given him so he'll probably look to stick it out.
