All the best, top players/athletes of each sport are old. Soft generation?

Football - Ronaldo (33), Messi (30). No one has come close to them from age groups past 10 years.
Tennis - Federer (36), Nadal (31), Djokovic (30). Everyone who watches tennis knows big 3 still dominant.
Boxing - Mayweather (41), Pacquiao (39). Still biggest names by far, new guys like Lomachenko have the talent but not the star value. Joshua struggled vs 41 year old Klitschko.
Basketball - Lebron James (33). Biggest name by far. No one's come close to him.
Lomachenko in boxing for one

Tennis and Boxing are dead as far as sports go. Messi and Ronaldo are generational talents, but there are others in the game that will probably have have as much credit to their name when they're 30. Would you consider either of the 10 best to ever play soccer/football?

As far as LeBron is concerned, while I'm not the biggest LeBron fan, he's an all time great, almost certainly one of the 10 best to ever play the game. And there are other talented players in the game too--Durant and Curry are both fabulous players who (give them another 4 years) may approach James' status.

And the NBA has no few talented youngsters that have the opportunity to reach this level. Ben Simmons is really good. The Jokic kid is very talented. Antekounmpo might end up with as many MVP awards as letters in his name. That's three of the top young players in the NBA and neither of them are from the US. I think the NBA is in good shape right now.
boxing is far from dead .
