Board level.

1. Looking for a quick buck or instant success (it rarely happens)
2. Lack of broad expertise in senior management
3 Procrastination - see no contract for Moyes, not ruthless enough over Martinez or Koeman, too amateur over picking Allardyce after the initial approach etc.

Manager
1 Ben and Jerry Managers (Flavour of the Month) usually with no winning history.
2 Poor man managers (Niasse episode, letting Lookman go on loan)
3 Player blaming Managers
4 Picking unfit players against medical advice
5 No adequate cover for Baines - year after year ditto Coleman (obviously out for a year), Lukaku
6 Awful quality football - Predictable

Players
1 No leadership
2 Too many deckchair performances (folded away before tea time)
3 lacklustre defending
4 Obvious signs of discontent (Mirallas, again), Schneiderlin, E'too Brutus.

All these show why were are on Skid Row

We need a strong manager willing to kick up a fuss and Play FOOTBALL

A board that understand football and business

A squad of battlers and a couple of decent footballers. Getting shut of the chaff.

That's quite a list. Agree with a lot but I take issue with the "No Leadership" quote - we have our Club Captain, the Welsh, Irish international captains, a former English captain, and other senior players like Baines, Walcott, Sigurdsson, even Schneiderlin has been playing PL football for a half-dozen years now. What the answer is, I don't know, but for far too long now (20+ years?!) an inferiority complex has been allowed to be manifested into this club.

If there's going to be a revolution at our club, a change in mentality must be near the top of the list. We've been comfortable being mediocre for way too long.

You forgot to mention the training methods,I believe our fitness and stamina levels aren't upto top flight standards since we left Bellefield for this cushy health farm.

Quite harsh against deckchairs there Dan. They perform a solid yet unheralded service. True, there's no deckchair awards, but imagine a world without them. It's a sobering thought.
