Those who have been here a while will appreciate that we're considerably more lenient with our moderating during the summer 'silly season'.

Our relaxed stance is one largely out of necessity. Given the lack of topic of conversation, we appreciate things can become a little tedious on here and football fans in general are prone to being a bit overly anxious over the summer...

But as we do every year, as the new season approaches we'll be using our considerable moderating experience to weed out absolutely anyone who are deemed counter productive to the forums environment.

What that means is over the coming weeks we actively ban anyone who;
  • Goes against any forum rule (No warning - Instant ban)
  • "Just looks a bit of a tool/wind up merchant" - at the discretion of the moderator.
And so, a reminder that we do ask that all visitors follow our guidelines to ensure these forums remain user-friendly. Read all here, and pay particular attention to the below;

Stay On Topic
Make a particular effort to ensure that your reply in any discussion is relevant and 'on topic'. If you are perceived to be deliberately diverting a thread away from it's topic, you'll be adjudged to be sabotaging and effectively spamming our forum and will be banned.

Poor, profane or obscene language of any type is not welcome - even in jest.
Bad language or Profanity negatively impacts our Search Engine Ranking, puts us at risk of losing our advertising income (Publisher network has rules against excessive profanity) and above all, it sours the atmosphere of the forum.

Of course, most will make the occasional slip up. But repeat offenders (and by definition of repeat - clearly fail to show any respect to the community) will find infractions mount up to an eventual suspension.

Please think before you post and help us maintain your community so we can collectively accurately represent the fan base.

Thanks
