All is quiet on Kirkby ?

Lets hope they don't balls it up and unveil a nice new battle ship in Kirkby, with our shiny new stadium left floating somewhere in the Pacific.

No it is not all quiet if you look at KEIOC website. Apparently they have some how got on board the local MP who is not exactly happy with the local council and claiming it could be referred to London!!!!

Also there is talk of John Tasker of Tasker DIY who may have land within the City borders. But this lot keep harping on about redoing GP. They seem to have great brain fade though when it comes down to asking where is the club going to get the money to buy land in the city and build a stadium or redo GP.

As much as I would prefer the club to stay within the City I am realistic to see that the club cannot afford a go it alone and LCC is certainly not going to give them land like they did with the RS. Add to that do we want a debt of 500 mill around the Club's neck like the RS will have?

For a new ground Kirkby represents the only option that is affordable.
