Last week was s**t but after a week of miserable ba***rds, stupidity from the club, idiotic soundbites and stirred up arguments on talksport bringing yet more misery to the fore... Can we not enjoy todays performance for an hour or so?
Just once.. please?.. Pretty please?.. just once can we actually just enjoy a fkin good game of football that we won.. clean sheet, 2 goals, Coleman's performance, Heittinga clean sheet, Jelavic goal, Osmans goal, current champions, 10 men? Just once stop being an Evertonian and be a football fan that enjoyed the result!
Later we can all ignore this game and go back to hating how s**t we were last week mr Buzz Killingotn but until then.. COYB!!!
ps Bungle's correct in answer to your very reasonable question

Jesus Dave just leave it will you

I was answering the OP's question. It is a nothing match though. The European places go to first 5, we cant get that realistically. Season was over before today.

There's only one game I'm even arsed about us winning the rest of the season: the Derby.

Yeah well said Ijjy.

You just know if Moyes stays the exact same thing is gonna keep happening over and over again.

2 home games against Stoke and QPR with Spurs away in the middle. Sure, first 2 are tough games and we shouldn't expect the same type of performance as today, a grind out win will do.

Nailed on we don't turn up against QPR after getting something from Spurs.

As i said before the game, it frustrates me hugely that we do this all the time and Moyes will continue to make the same mistakes and do the same good things.

Nothing will change.

That's why I think its better if he leaves. We will have to endure a season of doubt maybe a few but the medicine will be worth taking in order for the slate to be wiped clean

Now that was an awesome win.

Brilliant all over the park

I'm chuffed to pieces.

But it's too late. It was needed last week. We needed to win the cup. Not to best City. Well ideally both.

I'm not being whingy. Goodison was boss today. The players were boss today. Why weren't we boss last week?

Simple question and opinions I'm after, why this week and not last?

Simple. The players took a win over Wigan for granted and they weren't mentally prepared to play a cup quarterfinal. You'll have to ask the master of the halftime talk for the reason why.

The Wigan game is gone, we just beat the current holders 2-0 after being with ten men for most of the second half.

Get over it lads.

Again, shut up with the sanctimonious bull****, telling us how to feel and think. As I said in the game thread, if you got over last week this quickly, it couldn't have bothered you that much in the first place and what does that say?

WE'VE JUST PUT IN A HEROIC PERFORMANCE AND BEAT THE CHAMPIONS 2-0, BUT NEVER MIND THAT, LET'S FOCUS ON LAST WEEK WHEN WE WERE SH*T.

Getting over hard times and being pleased when good things happen is key to living a happy life.
