We seem to be importing Eastern Europe's social problems at the moment. There seem to be a really high number of bad apples among the latest arrivals from Poland. Couldn't believe what was going on in the town I used to live in last time I visited. Petty gangsters and thugs considered scum in their home country, according to a Polish immigrant friend of mine, sitting round the park in gangs selling drugs and fighting with Asian and other Eastern European gangs. A couple of them stabbed each other in broad daylight in front of kids playing the other week. Absolutely mental stuff.

That seems to be for british citizens. Although it's still daft.

I actually dot believe we don't check immigrants from the eu. That's a national disgrace and if the poor girl has been murdered by this man then her death lies on the governments shoulders. That goes for anyone else go has been a victim of foreign crime.

We can choose who comes here, and no one should be put at risk unnessessarily. A system that works needs to be put in place. Or we could just do the sensible thing and get the ell out of europe.

Gary glitter whether we like it or not, is a british citizen. We're stuck with him if he so chooses. We Dont have to be stuck with dangerous people from elsewhere yet we don't want to take the choice.

I think we can stop certain people in fact I'm pretty sure we can but then questions arise at to what the criteria is and if we know . So was this a failing on the procedure or decision making i honestly don't know .

Being a member of the EU will certainly lead to issues where people like this bloke travel , whether he's responsible for this crime or not . If he's responsible then obviously it'd be a tragedy for the girls family . However I'm not sure one case , or the other 3 or four others could link , should lead to an abandonment of a socioeconomic political policy across Europe .

We have our fair share of scum in this country and personally I don't sit terrified of the foreign hordes conquering our nation . That doesn't mean I wouldn't understand any outrage or real pain the family may feel in the future if a connection is established though.



Poles dealing openly drugs in the street and stabbing each other where about mate ? Not taking the Mick genuine question as it's certainly not something I've experienced , the crime I've encountered regularly has been almost 100 % English based .

Northampton. The stabbing also involved a Romanian. It's a park called the Racecourse which has a bit of a bad rep at the best of times, not the street. A mate of mine has a workshop in a building there and has had loads of hassle. Police won't do anything about it, either. Too much grief for them. It's a recent thing, these types. Northampton has always had a large Polish population even prior to the EU existing and it's always been sound.

The thing is on pure ideology, I agree. But in practical terms, my job wouldn't exist without eu funding. I'm not going to vote myself into unemployment.
