Only just realising this now, the man was a part of Everton unlike anyone else i had ever known in my lifetime.

Have to say, yet again Everton pre-match were sensational in the respect paid to Young today. From the video on the big screen to the Bagpipes playing Z-cars to see the teams on the pitch.

Lovely gesture by the club with the bagpipes to 'lead' us out. We seem to do the little things so well. Classy touch by the club for such a classy player. RIP Alex.
