Walcott is a better player. The amount of stick he gets is unfair. His goal scoring record at Arsenal is far superior and even his ratio here is better than Iwobi’s. Every Time I have seen Iwobi play he has been poor.

I've not seen enough of Iwobi to counter that, but Walcott was god awful for us last season, stank the gaff out every time he played. Hope he never plays for us again.

Arsenal fan here. He's not a top player, a decent player but we're happy with the fee:

Strengths

Close control/dribbling
First touch
Strength
Pace
Link Up play
Workrate
short passing game
ball retention

Weaknesses

Finishing - his technique and placement is poor

He's also much better as a CAM than a winger. I expect he could progress with more game time.

It was a surprise to many of us he made it out of our academy over others



This is a nonsense, the best thing about him is his ball retention decision making, albeit not in front of goal

If those are his strengths then he could be our best player lol

I agree, but if we get behind him and he rediscovers his best form he is a very good premier league player.
