Stirring it up for Silly Season linked with this young Spanish lad, who like unicorns is one of those rare breeds we rarely see around Goodison a winger:
Everton have emerged as contenders to land Spanish starlet Alex Cruz from Second Division side Gimnastic de Tarragona.
The pacey 20-year-old winger is highly rated on the continent with Villareal and Sevilla also thought to be keen.
But Cruz, who is rated at just over £1m, said he was glad to hear of interest from the Blues, saying he wouldn't be fazed by a move abroad.
He said: "The player is always the last to find out about these deals, but I am highly pleased with this news.
"My dream has always been to play in a great club. I am not scared to move out of Spain if it is a good deal."
Gimnastic de Tarragona are currently saddled with debts which could allow the Blues to land Cruz at a cut price.
