I know,he's looking lost to me mate,I want him to succeed,he's had one great season,and one awful season,I'd like to see him given the summer and the first 10/12 games next term to see where we are and if he himself has learnt from the harsh lessons this year,however I fear a defeat tomorrow and if results at the bottom today go against us,the backlash from our fanbase could make his exit sooner rather than later especially with the international break.

For me the midfield should be between Besic, McCarthey, Gibson and Barkley.

I would reserve any decision until the end of the season barring getting into any real danger of the big "R". So it would all depnd onthe games left how we perform. IF noy good and we avoid the R I am still not convinced about giving him our summer transfer fund.

If he does start tomorrow it's because Martinez really does believe it was the whole team's fault that Alcaraz was rubbish on Thursday.

Because Duffy wanted to play regularly and not be 3rd or 4th choice.

Liked Duffy myself but think he made the right decision for his career and he probably didn't fit as the ballplaying type Martinez likes anyway.

Perhaps he felt that stones wasnt fit or needed to rest or was managing him through the season as its only his second real season.

Think everyone knows who the superior player is.
