Goalie for Everton? Can't find him in squads 1953 / 56.

Jimmy Harris & Brian are there but no Albert.

The 50s were a pretty grim time, what with post war austerity, rationing, waste grounds were once factories and whole streets stood but had been razed by the Luftwaffe, National Service, polio and a host of other maladies.

Even worse.......EFC were relegated

It is little wonder there is never much talk about the 50s.
