Player Valuation: £70m
Today marks the 6th year passing of the blues legend Alan Ball. I'm sure people will have their special moments of the greatest footballer i personally have ever seen

Sitting on the ball, scoring at Anfield, one third of the Holy Trinity, white boots.

Thanks Bally for the memories.

RIP Alan Ball, would love to have seen his like in his prime.

Does tomorrow not mark his anniversary, with todays being Brian Labones?

....take it from this old fella that there was never a truer chant than 'who's the greatest of them all, little curly Alan Ball'. Bally was rhapsody in Blue, truly world class as a footballer aligned with a genuine love for the club. It was a priviledge to watch him.
I met his Dad in Everton Supporters Club after the 1970 Championship and he let me touch Bally's winners medal. Great memory.

I stole an Alan Ball biography (which isn't easy to get here in the states) because I felt like I should have it more than its previous owner.

Never met, saw play or even remember him but his comments 'once everton has touched' is my favourite EFC quote.

Simply the Best..my all time favourite ...
and it is tomorrow 25th April..6 years. Labbys today.24th April 7 years.
