Loan is the ONLY option we have with Niasse mate, at least for this coming season
That's my point, I get players like niasse are frustrating to watch and people want rid but selling them on the cheap or letting them go for basically free would be cutting off our nose to spite our face

Unless the player is an utter lunatic no club will let an asset go for nothing.

Fact that we are looking to recieve a loan fee of around 1.5m shows that we will be able to recoup a fair bit of what we spent on him, even if it means effectively a revolving door of 3-4 loans over the duration of his contract to places like Turkey, Russia etc, couple of seasons with 1.5m loan fees follwoed by a 5m sale, will recoup 8-9m of the initial 13.5m we paid - which overall isn't THAT bad a loss on a player this terrible

To be fair almost everybody was gutted when we signed McGeady. He's been a complete disaster of a signing, and it didn't take being a professional manager to work it out.

You want to give any new signing a chance, but I'd seen enough of McGeady and Kone to know that they weren't good enough for us, which has been incredibly evident since.

Exactly. I'll support any Everton player when they're on the pitch for us, but wasters like those you mentioned aren't worth the effort as you know they'll just let the side down. Just give them away.

depends on koeman but I think he may be given a chance, very much like the rest of the players in the squad. I think most people are using his GOD AWFUL shot at the keeper as a stick to beat with, when actually he controlled the tempo of the game for a bit there but I must be honest I am looking for positives.

for what it's worth at least Kone tries.

He came good at the start of last season and tbf was part of a side that looked excellent at times, even though he quickly turned turd again.

But God, McGeady is pure garbage.

errr.... did he?

There must be a Chinese team out there who want an experienced Irish International?

We should make a leaflet like Michael Owen did years ago.

At least owen had some things he could put on his leaflet. The only thing McGeady can say is he won on man vs food!!
