hate to be the eternal cynic, but i don't see that as a huge positive. i mean we have blackburn and reading, who we struggled against earlier this season. tottenham aren't great, but because of that we absolutely need to take points off of them. my point is, these games are winnable, thus we have to win them to have a good campaign, unlike games against top teams which losses in aren't a huge deal, or games against the bottommost of the bottom feeders that are almost gauranteed wins for us.

i'd almost prefer we had all of our games against the big 4 away during this spell, just because we probably wouldn't take too many points off them anyways. these games are games we could probably win with a full strength squad, but with missing players we might struggle, which will hurt us more in the long run than losses to big 4 clubs who noone expected us to upset anyways, and who having a full squad against might not even help.

think about last season when we played young vaughan up front alone against chelsea, he was class and i doubt we would have faired much better had we had more players available.

so yea, i think its actually rather unfortunate that we have somewhat competitive games, but must win games during a time when our squad will be stretched thin.

I can see where you are coming from but the flipside is that if we are to have any chance of maybe gatecrashing the top four we need our best players available against the top sides, it's a 50/50 situation i think.

i dont know if im "stupid" but i dont know why the ANC would have anything to do with everton. so rather than tell me to [Poor language removed] off just tell me what the [Poor language removed] it has to do with everton. i dont know

Everton have African players, they come from Africa, they have their own "Soccer" tournament.

But seriously, you don't know if your stupid or not? If you don't know, then that means you are.

Sorry, I don't care if people think I'm out of line here, but the other week this guy insulted my country, my game and my club. He then started a thread about Liverpool that had [Poor language removed] all to do with the blues.

youre not out of line at all. i tried to explain i wasnt doing that. i guess people come to these sites and try to [Poor language removed] with people i dont know. im not doing that though. so these players are they forced to leave everton during the season to play in this ANC thing? thats ridiculous

Well its no different than teams leaving to play in the World Cup, they can't play the African Nations during the summer months because of the temperature I guess - that's why they play in January.

My advice to you is, go and read the wiki about football (proper football), and maybe lose the bigot homophobic attitude, then come back.

right now im a bigot. heres the next great player, wheteher you like it or not
