Hello

Has anyone here been to see Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion before? When we play Wolfsburg i'm staying in Berlin and noticed that they were playing Bayern Munich on the Saturday so i'm hoping to get a ticket, it would mean changing my flight but thought the opportunity was too good to miss!

Any advice on how to get them and best places in the ground to get a ticket would be appreciated.

Cheers

George

Went on a stag do there a couple of years ago. Got tickets the day before the game from one of the club shops no problem much like you can get Everton tickets at Everton Two in town.

I went a couple of years ago for Hertha-Bayern and tickets were sold out, I was told before I went tho that this is the only game of the season where tickets go fast. Managed to get tickets easy enough from a tout tho for €30 each on the curve behind the goal (face value was €16). Just get to the ground early, they have loads of bbq's and stalls selling bottles of ale. Crowds build up really early over there so you get a decent atmosphere building up from about 11am on game day

Most clubs tend to sell out quickly when Bayern come to town I think. You may have more luck though for Hertha as it's a massive stadium

Fair way out from the city centre though mate so make sure you a lot plenty of time for messing round on the U bahn. Stadiums huge and the grounds are nice - didn't realise tho after a game Hertha have to pack everything away because they are only renting the stadium. Spoke to he groundsman who is English when I went.
