We touched before on the excess of adverts in US TV from drug companies.

One thing I do like is that by law they are required on the advert to warn about possible side effects, like "this may cause heart attacks if you suffer form high blood pressure". I like that law.

The ingenius cats at Viagra do it best though:

"If you suffer from an erection lasting more than four hours please see your GP".

Truly fantastic stuff.

That new DFS advert on the radio is a bit annoying.

Goes something like "we're bored of flashy advertising about our new sale. So I'm going to just tell you the facts and you can decide..." then the guy goes on in a monotone slow paced voice talking about dates, ranges in the sale, stores participating, apr, credit and all the other boring aspects of furniture sales.
Goes on for about 2 minutes and its enough to make you want to attend the Cal and HB suicide party!
