Administrators were today at the Liverpool training ground, Melwood. They conducted a thorough inspection of all facilities in order to assess the full worth of the club's assets.

Surprisingly, one of the most thorough inspections took place in the kitchen area. The administration team found over 300 lbs of the finest fresh pasta, 600 lbs of chicken, 400lbs of the finest steak and 300lb of prime Scottish salmon.

When asked about the vegetables, chefs replied that Roy Hodgson had sole discretion over team selection.
