So weird how Koeman was hyping him up and now he can't get any minutes even from the subs bench. I know there were a few moments in his last 2 appearances where he was losing the ball too much but prior to that he had already shown more than DCL ever has. To my eyes there is a big gap in talent between the two but what do I know.

Hopefully he will get some minutes in the next few matches.

Not sure why calvert is ahead of him especially after tonight's effort from calv but no doubt lookman will be in the team soon now that Kev looks paceless

Why he's not getting game time is simply baffling when that cart horse DCL is getting on

Was ineffective when he last played. I can't see much game time this season.

People do realise that they are watched almost everyday in training.

My guess is that DCL is performing better and is getting the rewards

i think he got stoke there for a season after getting to an FA Cup final. Complete bull that they've done it on purpose, they're just nowhere near as good as us, hence we've done the double over them.

Looks like he's set to commit to playing for England ahead of Nigeria. No surprise but wonder how long it will be before we see him looked at for the senior level.

Great for England as apart from sterling, they don't have any real options or prospects in wingers. But he's only going to get picked if his form for Everton is good, not sure why Koeman hasn't been giving him minutes the last few weeks.

It'll be a long road for him I feel as opposed to Nigeria where he would make probably an instant appearance. Lots of people saying that choosing Africa is the "easy option" like Zaha with Ivory Coast which I don't necessarily agree with. Guess it just depends how attached you are to your nationality(s). Zaha was born in Africa while Lookman was not.

As for him getting chosen for us, I feel like he must be underperforming in training. Hopefully we'll see him bust through soon. Also seen some rumours about him possibly being a little homesick. No surprise there, moving from London to Liverpool at such a young age.
