Ademola Lookman

The tackle on N'dong wasn't pretty but to be honest I was pleased he showed he wasn't going to be intimidated as there were some hard challenges going in on him.

I was also impressed with how he dealt with Gibson, who was clearly unimpressed that Lookman hadn't been booked. Just walked away and then minutes later suckered Gibson in for a late challenge - got him booked and then that's him on a yellow half way through the first half. That's what championship experience brings you -it's a physical league with more lenient refs.

I thought that his head went down and became frustrated when his first couple of turns didn't come off.
It can only be a good thing that he is getting game time and hopefully he will come to terms with the Prem and come back stronger next term.

Despite him being mostly ineffective yesterday, his control was fantastic at times.

Yeah, he's not gonna be starting the next game.

i'm not so sure mate, I think Koeman will show his faith in Lookman and start him against Spurs

I disagree. I think koeman will 'rest' him next week at Spurs and possibly against the physicality of WBA. Although I'm delighted with the early impressions of lookman and think he'd be more effective as an impact player off the bench, in these games. The only reason I can see koeman playing him next week, is to stop walker getting forward at will and possibly try to vacate the space in behind him.

I agree. I am sure he will be the first offensive sub, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Veteran Mirallas back in at White Heart Lane. Bring him on as a game changer and tell him to run at tired legs.

He's quite beautifully exposed the bawk tokenism from all the millennials on here who drop their kecks at the sign of a stepovers, the "tekkers" adoring clueless whoppers.

Usually these types are from the Wirral and obsess over foreign players for a long pass, free kick or stepovers complilation.

Lookman was the next Pele 3 weeks ago and you're all shuffling looking at your shoes admitting he's better as an impact sub now.

You're worse than geordies or kopites for me and are a stain on Evertonianism. Do one and focus on your natural place of half and half support Tranmere and "Atleti" you peninsula dwelling goblins.

Hes a young lad learning the game, only the clueless cafers from the X Generation on here who are 2 kool to admire talent in a player cant see that.

Usually these types are scousers who have moved away from the area and try and fit into the "scouse" way of life by talking about trabs and DER CITY CENTRE LAD.

They think they are 2 kool to watch any football other than Everton and only watch football on a linear level.

They are worse than Southampton fans or mancs for me. Do one and focus on watching re-runs of bread or Brookside and leave the football to the people who admire the beautiful game.

You support a scouse team. You want to be us. If not then get back to the methadone you half Welsh tunnel rats.

Of course he is learning and he is likely to be replaced by Miralles but the next one up
is who? That is why getting rid of Del Boy was such a bad move.
