Can we all not jump on top of what was clearly a tongue in cheek reference from @Tony09 to the events earlier in this thread.

FFS where has your sense of humour gone?

Allahu akbar.

I am reserving judgement on his "attitude" etc., Toff.

And certainly he worked like a Trojan on his last start for us, at Watford.

He is just a boy in the right place at the wrong time :)

And I am going to make an exception to my normal rule of thumb about losing interest in a player once he leaves and follow his career closely wherever it takes him.

I just missed out on Alex Young and Del, along with Duncan McMagic, are the kind of players whom carried on the tradition of our Golden Vision into other eras.

Del at his best had us out of our seats every time he picked that ball up, out wide on the right and heading toward the Gwladys.

Del leaving will rank up there with the departures of Alan Ball, Colin Harvey, Duncan Ferguson and Wayne Rooney as transfers which broke my heart.

(and I am still hoping it is not to late for a change of heart ;))

I hope he stays mate but it doesn't look likely.

I have no reservations about his attitude either. It's his 'aptitude' - his application just isn't good enough too often for it to be all to do with the managers etc.

seems like pretty much everyone we buy (and bought in the summer) will/will have this, which is largely beneficial i suppose, i wouldn't mind seeing a bit of continental flair to mix it with as well though, especially if we start qualifying for europe regularly.
One or two continental signings would always help as they can bring something different to the table. My biggest concern with that is obviously the adjustment period; some fit in right away and some take quite a while.
