Have you seen much of both him & Calvert lewin the difference in reported prices is quite large wasnt Calvert lewin was only a couple million.

I suppose I'm asking is lookman expensive or a real potential superstar or have we managed to pick up a real bargain in Calvert lewin.

.....Lookman is established in a league side, indeed he cemented his place last season when Charlton were in the Championship. Lookman has also come through the England youth ranks so he has been under the microscope for years.

I suggest Calvert-Lewin is different as he has had nowhere near the same exposure. Very little first team experience at Sheffield United and a loan period elsewhere. I think Unsworth had seen him play against us a number of times and was very impressed.

I wonder if sometime this year we'll have three teenagers on the pitch at the same time in Lookman, Davies, and DCL. Once we've got him settled into training, RK has done the " it's a big step up to PL, only 19, one for the future , don't heap big expectations on his shoulder" bit then you'd expect him to be on the bench sooner rather than later.... and then we take it from there.

Lookman is still very raw but has outstanding potential.

Lots of creativity. Good first touch too. I'm really looking forward to seeing his development

Charlton winger Ademola Lookman is travelling to Merseyside on Wednesday to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed move to Everton.

Sky Sports News HQ understands the fee for the 19-year-old is in the region of £10m and it is anticipated the deal will go through in the next 24 hours.

It is expected that this move will be the start of a busy transfer window for Everton who are understood to also be looking for a central midfielder and centre half.

Yes he's raw at times, his decision making can be dubious, but he's just 19. With the premier league coaching he's going to receive, and the big jump in talent that'll be alongside him, i can only see him growing into a very accomplished top flight player. He's hard working, honest and clearly unfazed by it all.
