But the discussion was centred around finding undiscovered young players in the lower leagues.......the examples cited were Bale and Sterling being unearthed by Spurs and the RS respectively.

I was pointing out we have made at least three forays into the lower leagues in the last three or four years which have borne fruit.

I've only seen Lookman play once and, if I'm honest, I remember very little about him.

Timing is everything.

Young posters sometimes try too hard and peak too soon, hopefully Lookman is on an upward curve and will improve to become a first team regular.

@Neiziro will undoubtedly learn from this experience.

Bolasie will sadly always be a strange 1, he will never be given a proper chance due to his fee and now his injury, I was very vocal prior his signing, ive never rated him, but ok, this is football.

Said it before, but it is my opinion that he was bought partly to keep Lukaku happy - note that they talk in Linga during matches & tweet each other.
He can be a monster though ........ usually tearing us a new one when he was at Palace.
