It is hard to see us paying £10 mill and then bringing in Depay on big wages to keep him out if the team. But if the deal is done then, hopefully, we have sorted out our approach to the transfer window and we will get in quickly and do our business without all the fuss. Couldn't stick another one like last time, bty why has Yarmalenko not been mentioned.

Mirallas scoring a goal on Boxing Day... Cancel any deals we've got lined up for any wingers then.

This season so far as a whole, all the attacking players apart from Bolasie and Lukaku haven't done a tap.

They've not stunk the place out every game, no. They've contributed next to no goals or assists, though.

I posted in the transfer thread that a Charlton ITK has said the deal was done when Bolasie got injured and its rising to £5.7mill - so its nowhere near the £10mill being reported.

This wont affect a deal for Depay as Depay will go straight into the 1st team squad and Lookman will be in and around it with the next year or so in mind. If he can contribute to the first team immidiately then great.

Maybe he will. The point that I was making is that if it is for the £10m rumoured, he will more than likely be go straight into the first team squad.

Either way, happy to be getting new players in. God knows we need them.
